How to Keep Flowers Fresh Longer
Floral Arrangement Care Instructions
Caring for Your Blooms
You’ve got your flowers—now let’s help them thrive. Flowers are like us: they open up in their own time, usually taking 2–3 days to show off their full beauty. Here’s how to keep them fresh and happy:
1. Give Them a Fresh Cut
Snip the stems at a 45° angle with clean shears or scissors—this helps them drink better. Re-trim every couple of days to keep them going strong.
2. Clean, Cool Water is Key
Change the water daily with fresh, cold water (think: water you’d want to drink). Before placing the stems back in, remove any leaves that sit below the waterline.
3. Feed Them Some Love
Use the flower food provided—it helps extend vase life.
4. Keep Them Cozy (but not too bright)
Place your arrangement in a spot with indirect light. Want the blooms to open faster? Lukewarm water can give them a gentle nudge.
5. Let Go with Grace
Every flower has its moment. As some stems fade, remove them to let the others shine. It’s part of the beauty—watching how your bouquet changes day by day.
